I'm just seeing this thread and I have always been so baffled by this entire topic...
Here's EXACTLY what I have shared with ex-neighborhood stay at home moms, bitching girlfriends, whiny women at the bars etc....

This coming from a single mother of three who has for the last 13 yrs... and if you were to ask ANY of my 3, the following question- this would be their reply.... and I say this with the utmost of confidence because I won a $20 bet once by springing this very question on one of my daughters in the presence of my best friend-

Question:- 'What is the wife's responsibility/place/job/role in life once you make to
choice to marry, become a wife & possibly a mother?'

My Speech and her answer:He is the HEAD, She the HEART in that union. He is to provide, lead, guide, protect & cherish.... She is to take care of herself, her home, her children & her MAN. To get detailed its like this....
Women HOOK a man with their COOKING, LOOKS, SEX.... Which ever one or combo of these three was used, you DONT take it away just because he marries you!
If you were 125lbs on your wedding day, that's what he signed up for! Ok- I know, we all say- 'But I had his babies!' yes, and for that he loves you and expects you to hold on to a FEW of those lbs... maybe giving 5-6 lbs a child. If you gain 40-5- lbs after having your children, walk around 5 yrs later at 175lbs- shame on YOU!

He didn't sign up for that! on top of the extra lbs, you add nagging and bitching, (which he never experienced while dating you) you all but cut him off in the bedroom, those Hot BJ's he used to get while driving home late at night are now ghosts of the past, let the female landscaping go to shit, stop cleaning, stop cooking, walk around all day in your baggie tshirt and faded sweat pants, complaining of how tired & bad you feel and finally- the never ending moaning about how he works so much, is never home for dinner & stopped complimenting you, never brings you flowers, gets a sitter and takes you out on a romantic date...BLAH BLAH BLAH

WOMEN- take the first step and see how quickly life changes and becomes all if not MORE than you ever expected by doing these few simple things!

1- try losing a few pounds and getting that make up bag back out. You don't have to look like a beauty queen everyday, but for Goodness sake- shower, shave, burn the baggie tshirt & sweatpants and put on a flattering outfit. Maybe yoga pants and a tank, jeans & his Favorite shirt, nice simple dress... have the house picked up and clean, have his dinner, in which you saved him a plate because he worked late in the microwave, warm and ready, offer to have him take a shower and relax while you re heat his dinner, have the kids clean, fed, homework done & ready for bed once they visit with him & last but not least, FUCK your husband! If you aren't quite in the mood because you too had a long day, open a bottle of wine, make a drink... GET in the MOOD!!!

I promise you will find yourself feeling better, prettier, sexier... just make the effort!
and if you really want to STUMP HIS ASS one day- have the kids gone to their grandmothers & meet him at the door BUTT NAKED, HOLDING A BEER AND A BUCKET OF WINGS! BLOW HIM WHILE HE WATCHES THAT FOOTBALL GAME....just Try!
