That's awesome you got to see that live. . Who remembers the cartoon movie from way back when 'Rikki Tikki Tavi'?

Yeah, it's a short story by Rudyard Kipling. Basically, a baby (I think) mongoose gets adopted into a family as a pet. Maybe a cobra killed the parents?-I don't remember. This is in colonial India.
The cobra and the mongoose are natural deadly enemies, the mongoose (Rikki Tikki Tavi) becomes protective of the younger kids, the cobra wants to kill them, and hilarity ensues.
It was acool story, and then they made it into a cool made-for-tv cartoon movie. They used to show it often on television way back when.

Sad day.
Had to get the boat ready for winter storage,
poor thing is now stripped naked, sitting out there in the yard all exposed just waiting to get wrapped in it's winter coat and put up for the season.
No motor(s), gear or poles to be seen, emptied the hold of it's contents, finally removed the last beer bottle from that spot next to the live well...gave it a good sweeping off while I was at it...
The colors of the trees might be pretty this time of year but the sight of an empty cleaned up fishing boat is kind of depressing....
Oh well, going to the mountains this weekend to enjoy the little color that's left on the trees, cabin in the woods, hot tub and a lil vino' on the deck overlooking the pond......
It's all good!
Hey,
Happy Wednesday Guys!
GO GET LAID!
