I would never trust a provider's confirmation from the night before if it involves me getting a room. Always gotta confirm the day of. Still sucks and sorry that happened to you.

Here's my rule of thumb-- NEVER get a room unless the girl is physically with you. I always call around to find a rate. Then, I tell the girl to meet me at the hotel or someplace nearby. Only when we are together will I get the room Heck, most of the time, I give the girl the money to get the room while I wait outside the office. This works well for me.

As for Tori, she was upfront and told me the first time we met that she tends to run behind. This happened to me on our second date. She actually got the room and all, but was 90 min late which impacted the date, I wanted to meet at 11 pm in order to be done by 12:30 or so. We never met until 12:30 and session didn't last as long as I wanted.
