One of the Hannibal Lecter books used the phrase, "he makes $75k, which isn't much if you have to pay for your women." This had to have been written 30 years ago, so our 45k present day guy is really screwed and if he's got two kids he should jerk off, work on his game, or accept a lower price point product.
