I mourned them more than most of my relatives when they passed. I still miss them and think about them frequently, but adopting other critters in need of rescue has been very comforting. I run a pet food drive every fall in memory of the Pea, and have hauled thousands of pounds of chow to shelters. It's an honor to do so.

Dog spelled backward is, "God," and they show the unconditional love and forgiveness that a deity is supposed to. They are more loyal than people, and a dog will never stab you in the back. They are grateful and always happy to see you, and they think that their owners are divine. I have a t-shirt that says, "God, please make me the person that my dog thinks I am." I believe that
dogs are the highest form of life on Earth.

Dogs are fun-loving and make the world a better place. Cats are imperious and want to take over the place. Ask boardman.
The unconditional love, loyalty, and forgiveness is amazing for creatures that can't fully understand and reason like we can.

Thanks for sharing your story.

Damn, yea I can see that happening with some folks. Had a prospect I call on who lost her dog. She's the CFO of a steel company here in Houston. Called her up, her voice was trembling and she was about to cry. This was a business call in the middle of the day! I was startled but not surprised. Again, just tried to be supportive. Sent her a card- though she never acknowledged it. Lol

Yeah. People handle grief in different ways. I remember the story of Tiger Woods dad dying and that same night he slept with a hooker / porn star as a way of dealing with his grief. I can't lie that did make me LOL. Tiger was a dam fool. Lol but it was real for him.

I know i digress.

Stay on topic.....you know what might happen

Edit: I posted this from the toilet (TMI). When I went to get back in bed, my little bitch had stolen my spot.

Or maybe she was just keeping it warm for me

And I was not mad at him for that! I think he should've re-branded himself as 'bad Tiger' and just been himself. He would've played much better golf. Just my opinion. :-)

No sir GS. I met her at an OTC social and it was all business. Not hot AT ALL! Back on topic: just being supportive of her loss. :-)

In her eyes, she was hot....with an executive pussy you were trying to tap....exploiting the death of her dog.

Or.....maybe..... she was just an self-centered insensitive bitch.

Haha, in her eyes prolly, my eyes not so much! But naw big guy, wouldn't exploit the dog like that. Not how I roll. Funny though. :-)

And yea, may have been a bit of a self-centered be-atch in retrospect! Damn it!

Fixed it for you. The way he has been playing since then was not being a big dog.

I have a 130 lb American Bull Dog, the guy can open the refrigerator, and get me a beer, part of his reward is a drink of the beer.

And yep, on many occasions he has slipped me the tongue, when I was not expecting it.

side note.... I do not have to worry about anyone stealing my shit, it is his house, and he protects it as such....

LD get a dog.... They are funny ! After a while they can read your mind, if you treat them like another person.

The best thing about dogs is they have terrible judgment. Hitler's dog was crazy about the motherfucker.

The best thing about MY dog (R.I.P.) was the way he'd hit the gate when JW's came calling. Made me look forward to their visits.
