Default question on time keeper

I have a question on time keeping in a session. I had a session recently and within the room there is no clock and the curtains are closed and dark. I do not wear a watch. The session went well and we just went along. I had brought funds for and planed for an hour. When the session ended I was informed we ran over an hour. I had no idea nor did I have funds with me for the additional time. She was gracious and we came to an agreement that did include additional funds.
This begs the question. Who is responsible for time keeping in a session?
Was she out of line to bring it up as we are packing to leave? It made for an awkward situation and an extra cost I had not prepared for.

The lady is the professional. She needs to take control of the session to manage the time.

Some ladies have their music timed so that when a certain song comes on she knows there are 10 minutes left, for example.

She shouldn't just let the time flow to wherever LOL! You may have had an engagement afterwards. Plus you only expected to spend a certain amount of money.

The client should be able to totally relax and leave himself in the professionals hands.

The lady is in charge of keeping track of time and YES, it was very tacky of her to bring it up.

It's the providers fault if the session runs over....it happens to all of us from time to time. It is the gents responsibility not to EXPECT it every time! Sometimes a client will book an hour and be out in 45 min and still leaves the full donation. Typically it all tends to even out. Well, for me anyway

Although I don't review, I would have to review that as a non routine encounter.

Both. I'm always mindful of the time and try not to overstay unless she is up for it.

I think it is up to the provider to mention it when the 'two minute warning' kicks in so they can decide to finish, stay or leave.

My customers contract with me for a specific amount of time. I am the one doing the Billing so I let my customers know when they are about to run out of time. Otherwise its my fault for letting the time run long.

I had that happen one time to me and it pissed me off no end. She was really a great provider and I had a fantastic time, so much she was about to be on my regular list. After I got home I had an email from her saying I had gone over and I owed her $X for the additional time. When I politely protested she threatened me by saying if I didn't pay up she would insure I never saw any other ladies in DFW. I didn't go back to pay her, never saw her again, and so far it's been 15 years and no issues with seeing anyone here in DFW.

I've also been with a provider that literally had one of those old fashioned wind up timers that made a very loud tic-tic-tic as it wound down. Talk about distracting! I took it as a challenge and tried my best to shoot right at the bell LOL

If you're going with the flow and she makes no effort to wrap things up then that's on her. VERY tacky for her to bring it up after the fact. I sure am curious who it was.

I really like what HR, KHC and K4U said about the lady being the pro and responsible for time keeping, esp in context of me just giving myself over to enjoying you for an hour or two. I don't even mind if some type of alarm goes off, as long as it's not obnoxious.
I'd rather you let me know when we've got, say 10 mins left. Don't tell me right now that times up, hit the door.

Like most things, it's how you say it that matters. So you just softly and sweetly tell me 'baby, we've only got about 10 mins left'. That way I'm not jerked right out of your magic aura, but get to slowly drift out, back into the real world.

Gawd, I wonder how many times the provider has run that scam on guys she feels will fall for it and gotten away by making them feel they were in the wrong. Brilliant. Let's all do this! -_-

Hey Diddle Diddle!

If you're at my place, and we go over, I think the respectful client pays attention to the time as not to take advantage. If a lady shuts things down right on time, she could easily be viewed
as a clock-watcher with the wrong man.

But usually when a gent overstays, it's not unusual for him to bring a tip for her generosity. It's nothing a lady should expect, but she should adjust her business so that there are no misconceptions. It's one of the reasons I don't offer an hour often.

If I'm at your place, it's most definitely my job to get up and leave. I cannot expect any other compensation beyond what was scheduled for.

I always bring a professional hourglass, sure its heavy and bulky, but its been measuring time for centuries. I just put it on the dolly and bring it up.....

I always take a friend with me to keep an eye on the time.

"Siri, remind me it's time to go in 1 hour."

I had a similar encounter recently and it left me wondering this same question. Who is responsible for time management? I needed some unplanned relief, but I am not really a BNG fan. But I did not have much time so I booked a half hour saying I like DATY and a BJ. This was with a provider I had seen once before and knew her BJ skills were excellent. So I was looking forward to the meeting. I arrived and I said I would like to start. So I go into DATY and next thing I know, she taps me on the shoulder and says my time is up. I offered to pay more, to pay for another half hour, but just wanted her to give me the relief I needed. Her answer was, " next time you just need to book a longer session". So no happy ending for me and, while I do enjoy DATY, it was not my intention to pay to give the provider only this service. But she definitely left me with the feeling this was totally my fault.
So two lessons learned. 1. I am really not a half hour kind of guy, and 2. I will go first should I ever find myself in this situation again. :-)
