Marvelous turnout at last night's happy hour!

Really great to see y'all.

And so many new faces and visitors, too. Even a "walking wounded" guest.

Nearly 60 attending; and, the more than dozen or so no-shows were mostly caught in Austin's heavy traffic patterns, I heard both during and after the event.

(I actually beat the traffic for a change and arrived almost 45 minutes ahead of schedule; don't ask me how, I was running my usual departure from SA time and customary roads.)

Anyhow, once again, BRAVO! to those there, and regrets to those who missed out.

Maybe July's Tuesday lunch can be a "catch up" as well as a prelude to the August happy hour.

CK1942 Another social that just hit it out of the park. I had a great time meeting so many people that I have not met before. It was wonderful having it out on the patio the weather was perfect. So many hot ladies that were warm and inviting and gents what a great group of people. CK1942 you have my vote and thank you for your endless service that you provide to this community you make it all work.

Yup, another resounding success. And I actually wonder where we'd have put the folks that were supposed to be there but couldn't show.

I hope everyone was generous with the wait staff. We had them running their butts off.

Oh My Goodness! Where shall I begin?!!

It has been a long time since I have been in attendance at an Austin social event, but I must say I don't EVER recall there being so many wonderful gentlemen!!

Thank you Ck, for all of your hard work! It certainly is much appreciated by this lit Lady.

Not only did I get to reconnect with previous friends, but truly fabulous to meet new ones in person.

In a way there isn't enough I can say, as words can never translate how much fun I had last night!

Wow, what a great social. So much eye candy, great convo, and such perfect weather for being outdoors. Met some really great people, reconnected with some good friends and nice ladies, incl a former atf who had moved away but made her way to Austin again, and was still smoking as hell !!

To all - I'm only the organizer (and the hey sit down dere host); the real secret to a great event, and I am 100 pct sure of this, is the:

GUESTS!

And especially those who remind folks to attend and who nominate more to join us.

Austin's is a really dynamic guest list, and now that events alternate between Wednesday HHs and Tuesday Lunches, even more opportunity for the fine(r) folks in Austin (and from elsewhere) to meet & greet successfully.

Lox - there may have been a few "vacant" laps available. But we definitely were in in overflow mode; fortunately our venue was able to accommodate us.

Gen - great to see you twice in one week! (Others, here, too.) Looking forward to seeing more of you in these here parts of Texas and maybe even in H-town one of these days/nights.
