Not quite that easy. The constitution has gray areas and must at times be interpreted. Clearly, not every one interprets it the same way. As a result one person can truly believe they ARE following the constitution, and another can believe the first one is not.

Additionally, there is the issue of what amendments do or do not deserve to be passed. I am in Colorado for a few days and a popular topic of conversation here seems to be a push to repeal the repeal of prohibition--and to insist that the original prohibition amendment actually applies to marijuana as well. And these folks do identify themselves as conservatives.

It isn't as simple as you say.

Ahhh, brought to us by the proud Dipshit who was stupid enough to start a Dipshit of the Year thread and nominate himself to be a leading contender.

Hanoi COG not only nominated himself but he is also self-appointed to the throne.

Congratulations Hanoi COG, it couldn't have happened to a more worthy recipient!

Indeed, you are a true-blue, one-of-a-kind Dipshit!

Cluttering the internet with voluminous stupid posts. In other words, typical IIFFy.

Most of it is pretty clear, unless you're a lawyer pushing an agenda for a special interest group. Read the thing. What part is hard to understand?
