I a perverted way I think she is right. No one who lives in the real world would for a moment believe that Anderson Cooper interview was a good thing to do--but in his world inside his mind he obviously thought it was a positive move. He isn't demented, he isn't an imbecile, he just does not see the world as it is. He has never had to actually work at a relationship with other human beings, so it is alien to him. I have seen that in others who are 2nd+ generation "rich and famous". Some of the Kennedys come to mind, also some of the Maloofs. In a little different way I think that was part of Bush-2 pulling into a shell late in his presidency: I truly believe he was well intentioned (unlike Cheney & Rove) and he could not conceive or comprehend that a large fraction of the US populous would see him as evil--he could not absorb that into his world view. That was a big difference between him and Bush-1. As with Obama, Bush-2 had not lived personally through enough to truly understand how messed up humanity can be. I often wonder if the min age for being president shouldn't be more like 55 than 35. Back in the late 1700s life expectancy was only about 40, so 35 was "experienced and wise in the ways of the world". I would argue that is not so any more. I doubt we are likely to see that change, but I think it would be a positive one.

I thought it was a great idea, It definitely takes some living to get a greater feel for our complicated world. While healthwise today's 60 is the new 45, I think maturity is reversed now. Yesterday's 35 in maturity years is more like 55 today.

The amazing thing about it all is that anybody actually gives a fuck about an old ass whore monger and his hooker mistress and a private conversation between the two.

I imagine the NBA will spend a lot of the other owners money before they quietly slink off wondering if any of their whore ass girlfriends are secretly recording them.

Mark Cuban used the old if a black guy is wearing a hoodie I'll change sides of the street line. He thought he gave himself out if by saying if a bald white guy with lots of tats was walking on the other side, he'd switch street sides again. Now the Trayvon crowd is on him. He apologized but is still catching flack.

My guess is all the owners are going to have to go to race sensitivity training after they vote Sterling out - if they haven't already. The club owners are in trouble now and they realize it because the NBA players union is calling the shots on this.
