AKA the blonde leading the blind.

1.) get on a board like this (whichever is popular for your location; ECCie seems to be popular mostly in southern states) Lurk for a couple weeks get a feel for how things work. Learn the lingo, get a feel for the active membership, and the stereotypes they portray.

2.) find a lady that strikes your fancy and read all the background you can find, believe at most 1/2 of it.

3.) invest in a P411 (or date-check depending on location) account. Suck it up that nothing is really anonymous and some lady behind a desk in Canada will have a goodly amount of info on you and know at least one of your dirty little secrets.

4.) find someone on the board that is willing to advise you and speak plainly as you get your footing.

5.) contact the lady from above. Try to come across as educated and respectful. lean more towards the later than the former.

6.) book for at least an hour your first time; you'll be so freaked out you'll spend a good 30 just stammering about.

7.) wear a suit; casual sex shouldn't look or feel casual.

As soon as you have a few established ladies who can vouch for you, go to local socials. Meeting someone in a civilian setting makes professional encounters even better, and you'll meet people you never even considered.

First & foremost remember this is not legal. There are repercussions should you get caught. If you are single (as I currently am) the connotations are not nearly as damaging as they are if you have a SO. Particularly one that might have access to your belongings (or shared property). Don't discount what will happen IF you have an acrimonious divorce. Get your feet on the ground and know what you are getting into.

That said, if you are careful...choose your partners correctly...practice a modicum of care & stealth...you should be able to do this successfully. DON'T tell friends or family...even if you trust them...things change...and that is one HELL of a chip for someone to be able to play on you if situations worsen.

Have a long talk with yourself & come to grips with why you are doing this Reasons are different for everyone, but you really need to be honest with yourself about why you are doing it. Me, I like pretty women who I can see for a time and enjoy each others company...but I DON'T have to "take them home to Momma". If we get tired of each other, no harm done we move on. (((Now I have broken that self rule a time or two, but it was well thought out prior).
If all you want to do is get an occasional piece of strange, I think that is the BEST reason for being in the hobby. Keep your emotional attachments at a distance. You will find some of these girls are just ordinary girls...sweet, pretty, sexy, skilled...& doing this to make ends meet. Some are easy to fall for. Guard your heart, cause even though romance in the hobby happens, its rare..and its risky.

Do you have a budget?

Point is its easy to forget this can be a very expensive hobby. I try to balance my hobby excursions with RW ones (not that this is always cheaper, its not), but it helps me to keep perspective. If you find yourself at the pawn shop on Sunday trying to hock your dead grammas lamp...you probably need to back off

Find a friend
Find a hobby vet who will shoot you straight. And LISTEN to most of what he/she says. I found a girl in the hobby I was comfortable early on and she taught me a lot about the ATX scene...also knew a lot about the guys on this board. It helped me immensely

Find a sweet first time provider
I was nervous the first few times...and found a well reviewed newbie provider. She made me feel comfortable and took all the nervousness away...(considering she sucks an amazing cock had a bit to do with that)

Trust your spidey sense
WE all have it. If its tingling, run don't walk...live to hobby another day. If you read this board long enough you will see tons of cautionary tales speaking of "I wish I had walked away". ALWAYS check the bathroom or other rooms for guests...don't get set up
