Forgive me, I don't suffer nimrods gladly.

I think every 6 months should suffice, unless there's a 10% or more weight change, or other major change, like hair length, color, shaving status, etc.

Those are good reasons as well. Not all the ladies update that often. There are pics that are years old sitting out there. That is just plain deception and dishonest. 3-4 months is good.
