Mature? That is the question. Whether tis nobler in the mind to have graced the earth for many years or for a short time?

As all of you know, I'm one of the youngest providers here in AR. Prominent provider I guess you could say. THE youngest black provider here. But it seems there is more of an appeal for older providers? Even new providers who come to AR (new on Eccie anyway) tend to be older in age. Also, in several discussions there are snide comments about younger providers not being professional or mature enough. Do some of you refuse to see young providers for this reason? Have you not met any with the appropriate amount of professionalism or intellectual skills?

I've just been curious because I've always had older friends (25+) and have been able to fit gracefully in various "adult" or "mature" situations. For Gods sake, my 47 year old English teacher was my best friend lol I do agree that usually there is quite a difference in small talk with an 18 year old than a 30 year old but it's not always bad thing.

I think there are a lot of guys here who value and even prefer young providers, but it is a balancing act to find that right combination of age, talent, and dependability. Plus, that balance is different for everyone and different from time to time with each of us. One of the great things about the hobby is variety.

There is often a perception that younger providers pose a greater risk of drama, communication problems, and rookie mistakes. Some do, some don't, but it is a perception that younger providers must overcome. You are mature, dependable, and professional WAY beyond what most would expect based on your years and experience. Hopefully your stellar reviews and increasing number of happy, returning customers will help you overcome that perception and become one of our rising stars.

The younger get to improve and a few mature providers become territorial or bash every little mistake. Us dawgs are smart enough for the endurance. Impressed you cared to ask.

To me, you come across as very mature and intelligent, YFF. Maturity isn't necessarily determined by age alone. Worth mentioning--I know some very immature older people.

I think there are always exceptions to every rule!

Thank you, GD! You are absolutely right. I started this thread because I was feeling a bit offended and wondered how many shared such an opinion. haha. Though, I will say if I were a hobbyist.. I'd try a few MILF/Cougars myself!
