Local participation is greatly increased when the community is involved in the forums.
It really aint about power it is more about doing the cleaning, fixing shit, filing work, You get to read all of the complaints about how you are a terrible mod even when the complainer has absolutely no idea of what the mod has or has not done about what ever they were offended about..
