Way back in ASPD days, a gal named Claire (not the current Claire) noted that some of the men here actually are misogynists in real life, a larger number frequently act like misogynists on the board, and a lot occasionally act like that on the board. She said that it’s just some of the bullshit you have to put up with to earn a living in this business.

I don’t think that is a good thing. I don’t believe that a male-centered discussion board has to be misogynistic, and I don’t believe that a board has to be female-centered to not be misogynistic. That is, I don’t believe that “bros vs. hos” solves this problem.

Very true. I have met some men who are better feminists than some women. and some women who seem to really dislike women. Good point.
