I'm curious why anyone would believe this number. Prior to the deadline the administration was unable to give out numbers. They claimed that they didn't know how many had signed up. They still refuse to answer the questions about how many have paid, how many previously had insurance, how many are Medicaid signups, etc. So my question is how did they come up with an exact number the minute the deadline expired. This administration has lied about so many things why would anyone put any faith in these numbers.

Whose numbers will you believe?

Nobody's. Obamacare to folks like you is like climate change or evolution.

Did the "major" networks really turn him down for the "big announcement" live?

There is more than enough money going around for those who really need it and can't earn it through disability or temporary economic troubles.

P. S. That is one motherfucking distorted chart. Why didn't you just start at 7 million and incrementally increase it by tens so it would go off the page? They only beat their projections even with funny business by 1.4%, but you make it look gigantic .

No shit....this group believe the earth is no more than ten thousand years old. Even if somebody in their own party tells them the numbers are right, they'd call them RINO's and then have a old white man Tea Party

Arguing with them is like arguing with your grampa about blacks being able to swim.

We have the cream of the crop in this forum, whore loving Bible thumpers .

Do you not find it suspicious that they couldn't provide any numbers prior to the deadline and then all of a sudden it is an exact number just over their projected estimate? They still refuse to fill in the blanks with the other requested numbers. This administration has lied about everything and you swallow this BS hook line and sinker because you think it bolsters your side of the debate.

I bought insurance because of the tax penalty. I did not sign up through the exchange, so it is at least one short from wtf it should be.

Jerry Pournelle, the noted science and science fiction writer, summed it up quite succinctly. Obamacare's goal was to insure 10 million formerly-uninsured people, and (supposedly) NOT cause anyone to lose coverage. ("If you like your plan, you can keep your plan.")

7.1 million signed up for Obamacare. 6 million people LOST their insurance coverage.

If we assume that those 6 million who lost their existing coverage signed up for Obamacare, then Obamacare only insured 1.1 million formerly-uninsured people.

10% of the way to the goal line does not count as a touchdown, except in the Democratic Party.

6 million people LOST their insurance coverage

6 million people were canceled by their existing insurance companies because said companies didnt comply with the law

6 million people now have more comprehensive coverage (better)
