Wow very well thought out and phrased. In my experience there seems to be a lot of compartmentalization in the professional realm. I have met some pros that have multiple websites that cater to specific market segments. When asked why the simple explanation is that clients have preconceived notions of what that service is and they do not wish to cross associate services. (Bondassage however may be the exception)

Thank you. After I posted I felt a little snarky. Adding lines like "just my opinion" are redundant, so I wish I would've left that out. No reason not to be on our best behavior here.

I also want to add that I whole-heartedly support any provider's limits, and I know many dominatrices who clearly articulate their boundaries (and enforce them) and have oodles of loyal fans.

I just don't agree that a "real" dominatrix does or doesn't do certain things. A real dominatrix dominates, and there are many ways to do that.
