Default Proper Appointment Time Change Ettiquette

Fellow hobbyists and female providers, I was wondering if there's a certain time frame that is okay to tell a provider that the original scheduled time has to be changed? I had an appt with a provider for tomorrow, but some issues came up that had me change my 1 hour visit to 15 min instead. The provider had given me 3 different rates when we first exchanged emails, so I thought I still had some options. Come to find out, the provider decided to cancel the appt because she was under the impression that I was "playing games." I told her that I was still planning on seeing her, but she said she would never see me again. I'm okay with her "never seeing me again," as there are a million ladies out there, but I just thought it was a bit odd. Am I wrong that I gave her at least a 15+ hours notice that the time frame was changing? Thoughts?

Had you seen her before or was this supposed to be the first session with her?

Also, does this lady provide 15 minute sessions? Some do and some don't, so if this lady doesn't and you haven't seen her before this might happen.

I had seen her before. She gave me 3 rates which led me to believe that they were 15, 30 and 1 HR sessions. When I asked her about it, she said that I was correct but that she would never see me again.

I probably would have told her I required either an abbreviated appointment or would need to reschedule to another day. You would have then let her know you are still interested and willing to pay for a 1 hour session, but you are leaving the ball in her court.

It sounds like she was not that interested in seeing you in the first place. If she regularly gets a notel, she might have decided you were not worth the time and expense. Alot of variables there, but I would just walk away and not sweat it.

Well I told her that I still was up to seeing her, but she declined.

Yeah. I'm good with her not wanting to see me, but I just wanted to make sure that I had given her enough time that I was needing the appt time to change. It is what it is...

It sounds like she maybe had her hopes up for an hour appointment and got mad or got her feelings hurt when you tried to shorten it. I doubt the 15 hours was the issue.

+1
15 hours? You gave plenty of notice. Schedules change, and unexpected work and family issues come up. You extended her the courtesy of letting her know ahead of time, your plans had changed. Now, if you had shown up to the Ladies door, at your appointed time, and told her you needed to shorten the length of the appointment, I would understand her being a bit mifted.

I don't think it's an issue with her not wanting to see him... If that was true, she wouldn't have accepted his initial request for the hour long appointment. I believe she already had plans for his donation, say a utility bill, rent, or car note. A 15 minute McSession wouldn't cover her need, and she wanted to leave the time open for another fella who might come along and pay for the entire hour...... Now how she handled the situation sounds like a temper tantrum or an emotional out burst, rather than conducting herself as a professional. When you do that, you're only shooting yourself in the foot, discouraging repeat business, and limiting your potential client base.

Well, I apologized to her and told her my intentions were not to get her upset. I also apologized for any misunderstanding she may have gotten from me needing to shorten the visit, but she declined my apology and said that she was never going to see me again. I thought I was being fair with giving her plenty of time to not only still see me, but to possibly schedule some more clientele due to my short visit.
