I think I remember that time in my life. Never really had a high sex-drive. 8 years between kids (not for lack of trying). My wife explained it by telling everyone my sperm always had to stop for a cup of coffee and a cigarette.

The way I understand it is that women have an increased sex drive the older they get and unfortunately for us guys we hit our peak early.
