Pa. woman admits to Craigslist slaying, says she killed more than 20 others
SUNBURY, Pa. (AP) — The FBI says it is willing to help investigate claims by a 19-year-old woman charged in a Pennsylvania murder case that she killed more than 20 other people.
Carrie Adamowski, spokeswoman for the FBI in Philadelphia, said Monday the agency has been in contact with local police in Sunbury and will offer any assistance that they request.
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for Miranda Barbour, and her husband Elytte Barbour, who are charged with killing a stranger they allegedly lured through a Craiglist ad. Attorneys for the couple are seeking psychiatric evaluations for their clients.
Miranda Barbour told The Daily Item in Sunbury in a jailhouse interview that she had previously killed more than 20 people across the country as part of her involvement in a satanic cult.
This is just crazy as hell. All I can say to everyone out there is stay safe and do your homework before seeing someone. Be very careful of using backpage or craiglist.
