Do that as well and it really does not take a half day to do it. But like MMM, i'm single so i really can come and go as i please. I've traveled a few times to Austin to see providers that do not make SA a stop.

The most recent i did back to back sessions with two providers, left SA around 8:30 got there with time to spare for a 10 appointment, saw the second provider at 11, was on the road after the hour appointment and back in SA around 1:30. That's about 5 hrs total with 2 hours of appointment.

yea, I love going to austin occasionally except for the traffic. I travel alot for work, and outside of atlanta, la, and d.c. (I go around nyc), austin traffic drives you up the wall, they need more highways or something.

Austin and Sa are so close, their almost like dallas and fort worth. I can see providers and hobbyists going back and forth. Didn't know providers weren't supposed to post in both. I guess maybe as visiting, although only 1 hour away.

I live outside of both SA and Austin, your traffic in SA sucks as much as any other city. Like driving in any city plan your drive at good times. In Austin at least it's basically only horrible for a 10 mile stretch just south of river to the 290. Got to say the worst things to deal with are lame ass loops like SA and Houston. Traffic backs up on them and then all the connections. Use your noggins and avoid them at 5:30-9:00am and 3:30-7:00pm like any city in America.

Austin must have passed a law that I-35 must have at least 10 miles of construction year round. Perhaps that construction is to further the desire for another toll way.

I can say that no one gets pointed just because they post in an Austin forum. None of us would ever want to discourage member participation or stifle the free flow of information. If a point is given, it is usually after a warning. I can def say that I have handed out more warnings than points.

I won't discuss any violations you have, but I believe you have been treated fairly. It's quite possible if you followed the guidelines that you violated, you wouldn't have received any warnings or points. But to say you were pointed for just posting in Austin, is just not accurate.
