The cowboys have plenty of talent but Excel in mismanagement.
Don't believe it look at the cheifs. Less talent and more wins. Better coaching and no owner , GM interference. The chiefs have Alex smith once considered the all time worst #1 pick.at QB. Behind a real line with coaching and a plan.though Smith is awesome.
Is this a surprise? Only to the sports media and fans that have never played a down in their life. Anyone that's ever worn a helmet knows what's wrong with the cowboys. They can't coach (jerrys fault), can't block (gm again no picks or signees), can't cover (too many coordinators lately), and they have a dez bryant attitude.
You fix all of these by firing the GM.
Every NFL team has a servicable QB. The difference between the good and bad ones is the o line. the great ones like Brady brews and manning are on.a seperate level. But when their lines don't block.they lose too. Romo would win super bowls in new England. Anyone thinking this is all his fault doesn't kniw what they are talking about.

Alex Smith was never considered the all-time worst # 1 overall pick. There have been plenty of others worse than him.... David Carr, Jamarcus Russell, Tim Couch, etc.
Alex is and has always been a game manager... a guy who isn't going to win you a game, but isn't going to turn the ball over to lose games either. He didn't have good teams around him in San Fran until Harbaugh came in, then they went with a guy they considered more of a playmaker in Kapernick. He has a very good team around him in KC... an excellent defense, an excellent running game, and a good o-line. He is just asked to manage the game, and he does it well. That's all the chiefs needed was to have a QB who didn't turn the ball over and put them in bad situations.
The chiefs have more talent than the cowboys though. They have a MUCH better defense, a better running game, and a better line. The cowboys talent level is overrated... and the talent they have on the roster is aging (outside of dez and sean lee who is injury prone.) Their window is closing with these aging guys like romo, witten, ware, etc, and they haven't done anything with that window that they had.

For me, I quit buying what Jerry was selling after he parted ways with Jimmy Johnson. That decision alone showed me the extent of Jerry's ego and I quit being a TRUE BLUE LOYAL FAN.
No one really commented on my earlier post a few weeks ago that the Cowgirls are 31 million over the cap for next year, almost 15 million over the 2nd highest team over the cap. How the fuck does that happen? How to you overpay so much FOR MEDIOCRITY?!... Because a fucking egotistical con-man and his son run the show.
Jimmy Johnson has two great characteristics that made him successful as a head coach on every level he coached-
1. He was a great judge of player and coaching talent
2. He knew how to get the most out of this talent or he shipped you to Siberia, quickly.
Jerry Jones' persona is a lot like Jim Jones who forced those lost sheep in Guyana to commit mass suicide - He wants you to pay for his ego building empire and he wants you to drink that fucking Kool-Aid everyday.

I had them going 7-9 at the start of the year and it is looking like that is the way it will turn out. They will lose against the Deadskins..Philly will lose against Chicago and it will set up a winner take the NFC East scenario and the Beagles will beat the shit out of Dallas. I can't believe the different ways they find to lose games. I am embarrassed to be a Cowboys' fan. Hey Jerry!! Did you like those 3 Super Bowls?! That son of a bitch made a deal with the devil and now he is paying for it. Somebody please take Jerry out so we can get a real GM in here to fix this mess. Get rid of Romo, that ginger son of a bitch Garrett and pass happy Callahan. Time to blow this thing up and start from scratch. I'd rather go 0-16 with young talented-not injury prone-players like in the early 90s and have steady improvement with a bright future instead of this mediocre shit I've been watching for the past 16+ years. Fucking Cowboys!! Once a proud franchise...now a shit hole joke of a franchise.

In New York, where they even brought in Baby Tebow, they used to call Mark Sanchez the workin' man's Tony Romo. They ran his inconsistent ass off. Philip Rivers is the West Coast Romo. One down. Two to go.

Cowboy Fans! Getting pissed off just isn't good enough anymore......fans of this team are going to have to get proactive and begin demonstrating they are not fans of this franchise's idiot owner / GM.....and start by NOT ATTENDING THE HOME GAMES. An empty home stadium on game day....this is only thing Jerry will understand.
Hey, did y'all catch the latest and greatest from our local "genius" this week? Get a load of this:
"The facts are that I really do think the way things have rolled out that I'm getting to do some of the best work that I've done, relatively speaking, in my career (as Cowboy GM) of these last several years."Quote / unquote.....
Mind you.....this statement, confusing as most of his foolish ramblings are, comes roughly 13 months after going on national television of the halftime (Nov 4th) Sunday Night Football game in Atlanta and telling (interviewer, Bob Costas) and the entire world, when asked if he, Jerry Jones (owner) would retain or fire his GM (ie: with the record he'd posted these past 10-15+ years).
Jones acknowledged the weak record (ie: six losing seasons since the last Super Bowl appearance) by saying, "The results are totally unacceptable; this is undeniable" and added "he probably should have already fired a GM who fared ("failed") as he has....."
But quickly finished that statement that as owner, he won't (terminate himself as GM) because he is convinced he is the only one "qualified" to fix it and eventually he will.
So which is it, Jerry? What have you done in the past year+ to do a reversal on this opinion of your record as this team's GM?
The bottom line is, Jerry Jones, is you've forgotten those statements you made (or thought we had) and that what you say has absolutely ZERO credibility whatsoever.
As Cowboy fans....we are currently doomed. There is no light at the end of the tunnel. It's well documented that Jerry and son have the team in salary cap hell next year ($31+ million OVER the cap). How can this be? Can't draft correctly.....can't figure out contracts properly....can't hire coaches that know sh*t from Shinola.....
Tell us, Jerry....WHAT is it you're doing so well as of late that you're getting in front of a microphone and patting yourself on the back over? Please....let us in on it because....WE AIN'T SEEIN' IT, PAL!

all good points, lol... I may be crazy, but I think the Boys will win today... if only because they have something to win for, and the Deadskins are playing for a better draft pick.. what a pathetic season, though, you never know if the Cowboys or Cowgirls will show up, the Cow chicks, or the cow chips..
I'm going with the Boys, 38-23... they'll get a big, early lead, and learn from last week's mistake, when they kept passing the rest of the game... Murray will get 25+ carries, and 140 yards

well I got the Redskins score right!
another interesting drama-filled game... horrible 3rd down call, to run Murray off-tackle, horrible decision to try to backtrack, losing 11 yards from the one-yard line!
redeemed himself a play later.. these Cowboys are a trip

Well, the Diehard Star Loyalists/Jerry Jones Ego Enablers get to keep their Super Bowl hopes alive for another week.
I haven't watched a single snap the last 2 games and have no withdrawal symptoms whatsoever.

Not that it makes a hill o' beans difference but the Skins won't be improving their roster via the draft come April, Tran.....at least not in round one (I think).
If I'm not mistaken***, I believe that little trade on day one of the 2012 Draft by Washington (vaulting up to grab RG3) cost them a few draft picks.....including this year's (First Rounder), which is looking to be a Top Five perhaps .And because of that trade that first round pick belongs to the St Louis Rams not the Skins.
Lookin' Good, Danny Snyder......lol
(*** I'll cross-reference this, of course....)

Its been claimed Philadelphia is such a tough town that when the game is over the fans go out to the airport and boo the landings.
Come the 4th quarter next Sunday, I'm waiting to hear the boos and here's hoping the roof will be closed so JJ can hear clearly the feedback for his ego.
Be prepared to hear him say the team was in the race going into the last week of the season.

I am an avowed Cowboy Hater but must tip my hat to Romo for his gutsy performance last night and really hate to see the Eagles/Cowboys game without the two starting QBs facing off!
