Jesus, +1 on that! It's been awhile since I watched so much non-stop porn. The little guy got a serious workout!
I am the proud owner of the Christmas Story lamp. It comes from Italy. I know this because it said "Fra-Gee-lay" on the package. It's a major award.

Mine was a Christmas (joke) gift, but it's the smaller one. It's pretty cool, though. It has 2 switches: One that lights up just the leg, and the other that lights up both the leg and the shade.

I stayed at home the entire time, but minor trips to the store which was only a couple miles away. I wasn't going to risk it with any crazies out there. So basically emptied my DVRs recordings. Had to catch up on my stories you know. Really wanted to go have some fun this past weekend, but the weather saw to it that it didn't happen.

Saturday evening I planned to make chili for dinner and before I started making it I noticed I had no crackers or Fritos. I decide to venture out to the grocery store and what a mad house. I had never seen so many empty shelves in all my life. I get to the cracker isle and luckily found a box of saltines but there were not many left. I get to the chip isle and there were no fritos to be had anywhere. What a bummer! But the chili was good!

Well I went deer hunting in this mess. Lucky enough to get drawn for a bow hunt where monster deer roam. Its like hitting the deer Lotto so no way ice and cold be damned was going to miss the opportunity. I was great to be out in nature and watch all the animals and how they react and survive in this weather. While 20ft up in a tree all day I got to thinking about our soldiers past and present who spent so many days and nights out in the same weather and worse, but who did not have a warm hotel room to go back to and the freedom they provided for us. So thank them.
Oh yea perved lots of showcases on eccie to help keep me warm.

So, I stayed at home, did some Christmas shopping, did some research on a project I want to start after the first of the year (build a handmade wooden canoe), watched some college football, marinaded a brisket (the secret is a can of Dr. Pepper). Sunday I cooked said brisket, a potato salad and pinto beans and entertained friends and played dominoes, cards and drank a few beers.

I sat in my living room and watched all the deer running around and the young ones playing and slipping on the ice and read all the fun stuff on eccie. I was iced in for five days before I could get out was just about to go crazy!

TTH, we always play straight dominoes at first for the kiddos sake, then when they get tired and turn to their videos games or movies the grownups play 42.
You obviously like dominoes?

I got mine at Hastings a couple of years ago. They have small and big, Christmas lights, votive holder, etc leg laps. You've made EL214's NICE list this year so email me and I'll get it for you for Christmas.
