We spent all day out getting more stuff but had to stop at the Marines recruiters office to drop off toys we had in the back of the truck, The office was close but One of the Navy guys walked out and asked if he could help us and we told him we had toys for tots and he said they would gladly keep them in the office the Marines got back. We had over 20 Big bouncy balls and some toy nerf guns and when we took them all in the guys joked about turning the office into a ball pit and playing all day. We will be going back to take more next week once we get everything sorted out to what goes where.
I have contacted the local places you all have put on here in regards to whether or not they will accept donations and will be taking things to each other them.
We were able to find ALOT of men's so called shower shoes (slip on sandals) and I contacted The Kansas City Rescue Mission to see if they needed or wanted and the lady on the phone was very excited about them and said oh yes that would be great.
Im looking forward to being able to deliver all the things we have gotten and see the smiles and appreciation of those receiving them. This the season of giving!!!
