What you say is true...however...
Many of the newbies who discover our little sub-culture, be they the guys and/or the girls...find themselves in a situation where they are so overwhelmed with the variety of what's available, that they actually do end up in a state of addiction.
Now I can't speak for the ladies, but as far as the guys...some of them have never experienced the sheer volume of women at their disposal, and all it takes to bed them...is money. They experience how it feels to have their sexual fantasies become reality, and as long as they can monetarily cover the time...it never has to end.
Some will learn from experience to practice a bit of restraint while some will never grasp that concept.
When I need a break...I walk away....and those who know me, know, that has happened on more than several occasions.
Then of course you have individuals who spend what seems like...every waking moment perusing the forums in search of anything and everything that feeds their little fantasy world. So somewhere in there is a question that some may care to ask themselves...
It reminds of smokers who say "oh, I can quit anytime I want." Hmm...is that right?
When they say they're going to quit the hobby...chances are...they'll be back.
