Obama Care for Escorts
Do check with your doctor and hospital network to see if they have a contract with the plans offered.

that article is extremely flawed... read it carefully.
it begins by discussing the fact that the sex industry is basically a cash industry, so actual income is not traceable. it then talks about a major tax credit one particular couple can expect, one of them a sex worker... further on talks about many sex workers receive a W2 for a NON-SEX job, or a few of them (dancers, for example) actually do recieve a W2 for sex-related work.
the tax credit will only be rendered when you file a tax return... the initial credit will be based on LAST YEAR'S filing... the article suggested it was ok to CHEAT and report W2 income, while not-reporting cash-based sex-work income... steal from the Government to get health insurance

Health care
There are a number of ladies that file a tax return as a "modeling service". What they have consistently reported to the government would determine there copay by uncle sam.

Yep, bottom line, anyone who files a tax return is going to need a healthcare plan.
Anyone who goes for treatment and is not covered by any plan will move onto the radar of the IRS and may be subject to a fine.
Romneycare is going to ensnare a lot of people who are using emergency rooms for free health care paid for by taxpayers, and a lot of people who are not declaring their income.
Interesting.

It's a cash business and I knew a girl who put "Entertainer" as her vocation on her 1099. It's not illegal to put "Escort", either.

I sell health insurance and actually the tax credit is based on what you will file on your 2014 return. And if you under estimate your return you will owe to the IRS. Also you do have to make a certain amount before you are even eligible. As far as the penalty, there several ways to be exempt from it.

I have 1 question, as I have read this several places. Muslims are exempt from participating in Obamacare. If so, who or what makes you a Muslim? Do you just have to claim that is your religion and who would have the ability to question that or dispute that?

at the risk of over-analyzing, and nitpicking, we are both right... the INITIAL credit calculation is based on your 2013 filing... that is obviously true, when you consider people are signing up now, months before filing a 2014 return... as they sign up, a tentative credit is calculated... you are right, in that when a 2014 return is filed, if there is an income change, the over-under credit will be applied based on that 2014 income filing.

any religous group can get out of Obama care, by saying it is against their religous practice... no need to prove anything.
what's really stupid is illegals are automatically excluded... the whole point of Universal coverage was to stop so many from seeking basic care in emergency room settings, and clogging the system, while increasing costs... illegals will continue to use the system that same way

Forget voter registration, we need voter qualification to weed out the stupid, not just the unregistered.

Very good question. I am not proud of this fact but while I was incarcerated in both the State of Texas & Club Fed, guys were claiming to practice the Muslim religion so they would receive time to pray during the day. Most were actually doing what they were suppost to be doing during that time while others were running the streets. If I remember correctly they pray at like 10, 2 & 4 daily. My cell mate for 8 months in State practiced the Muslim religion...
I don't wish my worst enemy to serve State time, place was horrible. Learned my lesson the hard way.
