I was in Korea and caught guard duty in a fence tower way up on the side of a hill. Right after I relieved the guy already there it started snowing something fierce.

After about 2 hours of blizzard the snow was so thick and the winds so high the officer of the guard called me on the field phone and told me I would not get relieved until the next morning so I should just take a nap in the tower.

The warmest place was on the floor so I laid down and went to sleep. I caught crabs from the floor of that damn tower.

In Korea they were known as scooche chingos.
