MUST SEE AUTUMN MOVIE Premieres 18 October!!!
There's a fascinating new movie coming out on the 18th of October that I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing called 12 Years A Slave. Based on a true story. It stars the English actor Chiwetel (Chay weh Tell) Ejiofor (Edgey O Four), Brad Pitt's also in it. It's by the black British director Steve McQueen(he made the movies Hunger and Shame). If you haven't seen either you must...Michael Fassbender's brilliant in both, but especially Shame, he's pretty intense.
12 Years A Slave is the true story of Solomon Northup, a free black man who was kidnapped in Washington, D.C., after being lured from his home in New York and sold into slavery. He worked on plantations in Louisiana for 12 years before his release.
Anyway I have to tell you based on the subject matter, I will probably be ballin' like a lil school girl, I'm man enough to admit.

Ballin' like a school girl! That took me a second. I thought you meant "ballin' shot callin'" type of ballin' not "bawlin' like you are holding Oprah's hand" bawlin'.
I only want to see The Hunger Games and the turkey movie.

I am wrong too. You sound like Paula Deen saying "bawlin' like a little school girl". Hunger Games is a kid movie?! haha. So is the turkey one. I guess I should add "sophisticated taste" and "lover of the arts" to my bio.

The Hunger Games series is another one of those set of movies where I've liked the movies more than the books so far. Books 2 and 3 were especially rough, so I'm looking forward to see if the movies make them any better.

Overdue but finally found time to see both 12 Years a Slave & Gravity. Enjoyed both, but 12 Years a Slave was an extraordinary experience. No, not easy to watch at times but I highly recommend it to those who get in the mood for more serious adult fare every once in a while. Yeah and I did kinda tear up there for a minute...especially at the end.

I'll give you fear and loathing in las vegas, it's overrated imo...and shame was plodding at times, but Fassbender was fearless and brilliant. Definitely worth seeing.

I'm going to make sure to see this one when it's first released. The last artsie movie Brad Pitt was in Killing Them Softly I waited too long, as in a week, and it was gone form the theatres. It's supposed to be good too.

I'm not sure if the turkey one is referring to a movie so I left it.
Yes, Hunger Games is a "kids" movie. The books were written for teens. These kids that were mentioned may be tweeners or teens. You have no way of knowing.
