What Eva doesn't understand (forgive him for being retarded), is that the financial contributions to the GOP are voluntary. But the campaign contributions given by big unions to the Democrats is compulsory.

If the lefttards want a level playing field (and fairness in campaign finance) then we should repeal Section 6 of the Clayton Act which exempts unions from the antitrust laws.
Absent that exemption, labor unions would be subject to the Sherman Act’s ban on combinations or conspiracies in restraint of trade. Repealing Section 6 would have one of two consequences: either unions would be deemed illegal per se as price-fixing conspiracies, or they would be subject to the Sherman Act’s Rule of Reason, under which they would have to prove that their net effect is pro-competitive rather than anti-competitive. Either way, unions would be fighting for their lives and would be in no position to dominate the political landscape.

There is really only one campaign finance law that would have any beneficial effect. Real-time disclosure of donors and the amount donated. Repeal all the other laws, and implement this one, and watch the system become more fair.

Yes. Sunlight = best disinfectant.

Mandatory federal jail time for violators, seizing of all assets. Problem solved.

That would be a good start. I would add in real time disclosure of campaign expenditures, online copies of invoices and contracts, names and addresses of everyone receiving money, and cell phone numbers, all on a searchable website.

You are an American ex-patriot, right? so why should we pay attention to anything you have to say on this subject, Kayla/Rock/Marshall/Jane?

Oh, and BTW -- that info IS available online, you lazy slug. But why does it matter to you, Sybil?

I don't want America to fall apart and not support us over there in Israel.
Where do I get to see online invoices for political campaigns?
