1: A license to be used anywhere
2: So many std test a year with proof of the test
3: Human trafficking classes
4: If a person wanted to become an escort a training school. So the person can learn how to do this safe and professional
5: Proof of age
6: Some basic self defense classes
This is a ridiculous list (with one maybe two exceptions) but I don't have the time to address it point by point. I might later, though.

Ridiculous - I agree.

What other govt approved activities require a license -- driving marriage fishing hunting writing prescriptions why should this field require one
Who cares about testing and the status - certainly not hobbyists or providers - none of us care about our saftey
Human trafficking classes--- they should stay ignorant of the dangers of the signals becoming involved so that those running them can continue to thrive
Proof of age - why limit the age of someone who wants to pursue this occupation
Self defense classes --- this would make it harder of the hobbyist to impose his will on the provider

I can't see the hobby legal here in the foreseeable future. But if so, review sites business will expand as the hobby expands. Simple as that.

I agree my thoughts were ridiculous.

I can not think of one job that does not take some kind of training. This is a business you either sink or swim. If there was a training class for an escort that would allow the provider to learn better marketing skills ( learn to answer phones, emails, banners, websites and just the over all business side of this with a short course that could benefit the worker why not.)

Std testing and to provide results it just shows you care about your safety as much as the clients.

Human trafficking is real it happens all over the world. A short class that shows what happens and how to not become a victim could save lives.

Self defense training. A few moves could save a persons life.

If a provider had a license maybe going to hotels would not be so stressful. You may not worry about a worker reporting you to Le or others.

Proof of age why not so a hobbiest knows the person is at least 18.

If being outed is a worry with a license and etc it can happen now. As a provider we already have enough real life info linked to us and all it takes is the right person to decide to out us. We have cars, hotel rooms, apts , homes, phones, internet service you name it and it does not take much to find out our names.

Textushhog is right it would expand. The marketing of the sites would increase and so on.....

If prostitution was legal, my pussy would start being taxed.

I say NO to legalization! I say YES to decriminalization!

Site like ECCIE will pop up more frequently hoping to be a cash machine generated from advertising revenue. Just hope ECCIE doesn't go the way of My Space, lol.

I doubt a few illegal activities that are legal in other states will be legalized in Texas in my lifetime. Texas is not a progressive, forward-thinking state, thanks to "leaders" like Dickhead Perry.

i have to quote carlin...-- if selling is legal and fucking is legal... then why the fuck is selling fucking not legal.....

jokes apart,... its not even the baptist state issue. etc.. I think its all about the politican, police, institutions cash/protection/muscle power.. think of all the folks getting busted.. the entire industry of lawyers/bail/ jails/staff./para legals/ police. etc etc.. So much money is involved in KEEPING MORE LAWS.... the dutch are the best and most practical... mary jane and p4p. both legalized long time back but heavily monitored and TAXED..!!!!!!

Great to see a woman who knows the difference. I would expect that once the corner is turned on decriminalization, the pols will realize they are missing a revenue source and start taxing the vice soon thereafter.

I think in Australia (I know I know not US), there is licensing involved, but there is no mention of tax. If Australia can do it, I definitely think US is too far behind the time and too conservative for this.

In Germany, it does look like there is a tax to be paid.. it is like freaking parking meter where provider puts in money and the machine would shoots out a receipt to make the occupation official.. LOL

I get what you meant by "not fair that my pussy would get taxed", but someone needs to pay for the routine STI check ups right? Or do you expect Obamacare to cover it?

What do you mean expect? Do you expect that I am a fool and that I need to rely on obamacare to pay my STD/STI checks? You many need to re-word yourself a little better sweetheart.

I'm sorry, but I pay for the maintence on this pussy.

It is all about the topic of the conversation, since tax was mentioned, and I got curious about what other nations are doing. I also wondered what the purpose of the tax can be used for.

The reply wasn't directed at you, and I had no idea this would insult you. Sorry. Count me out as part of this discussion. After all, I don't live in Dallas.
