MONroE ... Places to stay away from & Best areas for hobbying?
Hello Gentlemen/ ladies of Monroe, La
I have had several requests recently to make a trip your way...
Never been, however I am thinking about making a trip sometime after my Shreveport travels.
Any help for a newbie in the area such as places to stay away from and places that are best for hobbying, what areas of the city are the safest. Any useful info would be helpful. Thanks
Miss Dreams

Hello Dreams, It really depends on what quality you want. I think one of the best is a 3 Star at the Ike Hamilton Expo, Quality Inn and Suites, 503 Consititution Dr. West Monroe.
If you want private and cheap but really nice for a cheap hotel, try Motel 6 in West Monroe. It's behind Cracker Barrell and restaurant row.
You are a classy girl so these would be my choices for you. I'm glad you are thinking about coming here.

I was actually thinking more along the lines of what part of town is the best side to stay on, then again I have never been to West Monroe nor any part so thanks for the info.
I usually like a nice hotel such as the Hilton, Holiday Inns, Anywhere real nice and comfortable that will let me pay a pet fee! I don't think my puppy and I would be comfortable at the Motel 6 and those type of places aren't very private, if you know what I mean! We are spoiled. Please tell me that they do have other hotels rather than some motels.

Thanks tok07!
Sounds lovely.
I like places that have the apartment feel. When they come with a kitchen and living area it's even better, easy to relax when in between appointments.
You answered my next question. Wasn't sure if Monroe even had a mall.

Dear LE:
Please ignore the hotels suggested. Miss Dreams is completely unrecognizable. No one would possibly stay in a hotel mentioned in open forum.
Sincerely,
HID

And about ur pup, if its pretty well trained and u can control the dog very well u could get it registered as a service dog with one simple click on amazon.com and no one can say anything about it. Anywhere. Good luck n monroe chick!!

Thanks guys... I am not really needing help finding a hotel, just the best areas of town as I have never been.
Nice Note: HID! Maybe you can help me out with general areas... So far the mall sounds like the highlight of Monroe! hehe
Where should I go Monroe or West Monroe?
