I am moving to another (nicer) location and so I have packing to do.

I ran across my Necromicron I and II volumes of H.R. Giger, one of my all time favorite artists. His airbrushing is gorgeous and his topic of choice is amazing and erotic. If it were not for his design of the Alien series, I doubt it would be as successful as it has been.

I love Giger! Have you seen his influences in the new Man Of Steel movie. Industrially organic. Beautiful representation of his style.

I fashioned a Giger chair in my design II class. It was the best sculpture I ever did. I wish I had a picture of it. A robot-like nymph on her knees, bent over with her head up and neck extended up and her arms reaching back grabbing her ass cheeks. The curve of her ass, back,neck and head were the seat part and her arms reaching back were the armrests. It was truly awesome. Too bad artists Dont appreciate their own work - until its gone that is.

I did not see the influences on Man of Steel. I did not know that he was in on that too

Is there a link going into detail about that?

That is great about the chair design! That must have been a lot of work. Do you still have it or a photo of it?

Airbrushing has always been something I would like to work more with.

Id give anything to still have it or a photo of it. Its was t as sturdy as id hoped that unfortunately. Saw its last days over ten years ago.
