Anyone knows if you are nice to me, I'm nice in return. The ones who make me go from zero to bitch in 2 seconds I block! I mean I am awaer I am not 100% to my goal and still working on myself. I hope to be there by March. DH I have no idea what you are saying because I will not roll around in the mud with you. I don't care, and for that reason you are on block! Yes the real Amy is a sweetheart, and I should have the right to defend myself against bullies. Be kind to me, you will get it in return!

Your calories burned are calculated by your height, age, weight, and heart rate... not how hot it is or how much you sweat.
Really? Because that's not what I thought or said. I SAID was, I like the heat so I do it in the heat. It's a putifying sweat that I personally enjoy. I was just letting BA know that running in heavy clothing can be dangerous. Especially in the heat, and specifically if one's not used to it.

In fact running in the extreme heat like I do doesn't take the water weight off of me. It bloats me for a while in fact. It's the way the body works. The less water you drink, the more you retain it. The same principle is at work when I expose myself to a cardio workout in the heat. The body feels the deleterious effects of my workout and thinks it needs to store the water. That's why I drink enough electrolyte enhanced water. Not Gateraid though unless you add some water to dilute the ridiculous amount of sugar and add salt. I add my own lites with lemon to improve the taste and a small sugar to help with the absorption.

BA, one thing though. When you wear sweat pants you are insulating the heat. In the this case, it's hotter outside so you are insulating the heat away from the body. It's the same principle why I don't shave my furry German Shepard in the summer. The fur insulates him from the heat in the summer as well as holds the heat in in the winter.

I don't lift weights at all. I do isometrics or yoga / pilaties for toning. Weights bulk me up, but I've never had to fill in for extreme weight loss. Just remember, if you build muscle, you have to keep it up forever or you'll look like a retired, flabby footballer. Maybe use lower weights to tone. If I walk and not run, I boost my workout by carrying and lifting three pound weights - not swinging because that's momentum lifting the weights - to boost my workout. By doing so, i'm working three large muscle groups: my entire lower body, my arms and back to a lesser extent because the weights are light and to a small degree my core muscles.

Like I've said, I've never dealt with weight loss like you are doing. I hope you are doing all this under the guidance of your doctor.

I am lifting 7-10 prestriounds on my biceps and triceps just to pull the skin to. I don't wanna bulk up, but I would like nice arms. I have mainly been working on my lower half but had to give up on my abs per Dr orders. My Dr thinks 5-10 pounds a month is great, and slowly but surely is good. He is very happy with me. So while restricked with my ab workouts, I'm doing cardio. Will post about that in the providers section shortly:-)

I don't know you, but do you maintain your weight and health by eating correctly and getting the exercise your body needs on an ongoing basis? Staying healthy and thin is complicated. A calorie isn't just a calorie, and physical training isn't as basic as it sounds.

Not angry, just correcting an assumption based on not reading what I said or reading what someone wanted me to say. Besides, there's a history behind the players.

Ah, cool. You're argument is over.

As to being angry...............let me explain....................... ..I'm in no way angry. If you notice, what you consider "angry" is directed at a specific group of individuals. The Houston market is quite full of whore hating whore-mongers. I've got no problem in general with whore haters, just don't be a monger that actively hates on whores. It makes them look not just the hypocrite, but also petty and stupid. Everybody sees it; they just don't comment on it.

I feel sorry for women that think they are sheltering under the wings of said haters, because there is no shelter there. My feelings and Stockholm Syndrome aside, the capable women that don't need to shelter I sometimes comment on. The weaker ones I tend leave alone or try to help out. The women that work the haters, I leave alone completely. (Here's a hint - Notice I left some comments unanswered.) Hope that clears everything up.
