But you can. The question is, are you willing to deal with the consequence of your employer finding out.

A 911 operator does not give lawful orders. Sometimes following their suggestions can get you killed.

He still had not broken any laws. Do you understand that?

You are free to do what you feel you have to do. You are free to follow me, and ask me what I'm doing. I have the right to ignore you. I do not have the right to punch you or assault you in any way. The moment you attempt to do physical harm to me, be prepared for a response.

no argument there.

You are correct, but the right to shoot someone does begin when they physically assault you.

You raise an interesting point ... hopefully will be addressed in the trial by one side ...

.. scenario ... "Auntie, I think I walk down to the convenience store and buy me some skittles ... but Tray it's raining outside ... not big deal ... I got my hoodie on. I want some skittles."

Then the other "points" .... did Zimmerman ...

.."stop, impede, inquire, address, or in other way confront TM" .... first?

hopefully there will be someone other than the State's witness today .... who was talking to him on the phone .... Martin called her ... she was the State's "star" witness ...

Andrew Branca is covering the trial for Legal Insurrection. His daily analysis makes for interesting reading:

Day 1 - Opening Statements

Day 1 - State's First Four Witnesses

Day 2 - State's Witnesses

Day 3 - State's Witnesses

One thing to also keep in mind is that if you provoke someone into attacking you, then your defense of self-defense no longer applies.

Ultimately, we don't really know what happened there. Only Zimmerman and Martin do... and one is dead and can't tell his side.

I'm hoping they all kill each other.

(I believe GZ when he says he stopped the chase and was returning to his car at this point) When TM confronts GZ and asks you got a problem? Still, no crime has been committed. But once TM responds to GZ's answer with, "You do now!" AND HE PUNCHES GZ and knocks him to the ground...A crime of assault and battery has just been committed. Anything that occurred before this point is absolutely irrelevant. Everything that occurs after this point is! GZ had his nose broken, his head was bashed into the concrete sidewalk and then he defended his life the only way he could. This was not stand your ground. This was self defense pure and simple.

We can speculate about all the what if's you want... What if Trayvon hadn't been suspended for drugs. What if He hadn't gone out for a walk on a rainy night to go buy some Skittles and iced tea (what normal person does this in the rain anyway). What if George hadn't got out of his car. What if George didn't have a conceal/carry license. etc. It doesn't matter!
Zimmermans lawyer should use this as a closing argument.

Don't hit it in the trap......lol.......drop out of standing water......swing easier.....and don't square up the clubface.....and finally.... always, always remember......for most of us it's just a game.....4 hours removed from reality, unless you leave your cellphone on. Much less expensive than an hour at AMP .....One visit to a HDH can cost more than a months golf membership fees....go figure. However, you do have to clean your own balls.
