It makes how we treated the Japanese Americans even more of a travesty.
The late Senator Daniel Inouye, Nisei and member of the 442nd RCT, was awarded the Medal of Honor for his role in the European Theater. Honestly though, learned about the 442nd RCT in 8th grade.
