I think the term gps is really derogatory!I really think saying it is only gold is an insult! I think it should be referred to as diamond or at least platinum if you have to settle for a lesser quality. I think we should all vote on this ! I mean really, even titanium and Sterling silver are more trendy and cooler than yellow gold right now. Gold is what you get if your old fashioned and can't afford or are too stingy for platinum. So saying someone has GPS is calling them a lesser quality of product AND a bitch for having her own opinions, self worth, thinking for herself, and standing up for herself.
My vote is on diamond bejeweled pussy but if settling for less is a must platinum pussy.

Sometimes the men on this board are worse than old women on a park bench or in a "beauty parlor"(since we are using old fashioned terms here still) getting perms.
Maybe we should start saying nice things or constructive criticism? Negativity creates a vicious cycle.

I was really humbled the other day. I was biting my tongue and sitting on my hands when it came to jumping into a really nasty thread (there are A LOT I am doing that on), BUT I couldn't resist after getting egged on and messaged and even named to post my .02 I gave in and tore this person a new Asshole just chewing them to shreds and force feeding them a big bowl of stink that they deserved and earned. Afterwords I felt relieved to get it off my chest, I got a ton of likes as well as feedback agreeing with me, and the Asshole never replied after what I posted because there wasn't much for them to say other than "big meany!". Some time passed, the thread died out, the praise slowed to a trickle, and this person got as quiet as a mouse on the board. I then got a private message from this person so I got my claws out assuming they went to lick their wounds then plan a come back at me before I even opened it. I opened it to see "sorry" then a long message explaining how they took a step back to think about the fact that the people they were degrading are just PEOPLE too with thoughts and feelings just like theirs that got torn apart so they see how it feels to get attacked so personally. I then realized her, I am no better than them for being a bully because i just bullied them, a real person at the other keyboard.
I am going to make an effort to not jump in and as fuel to the fire so much. Will i stop being a smart ass? Will I never argue? Will I never stand up for myself? Will i get declawed? Hell no to all of the above, however, I am going to try and sit on my hands more often and hold back a little. You put negativity out there and you get it back. The old saying what you put out comes back three fold is pretty true.
I think if we all aren't this the board will have more participation and insightful input. The scorpion will always sting the frog, we are who we are, but remember that the scorpion drowns with the frog for stinging it. I know I'll be a hypocrite at times but at least I'm trying.

Just think who are no longer here!
