If the left had allowed them to have armed, trained teachers then he would have been stopped at the office. Of course this, like your claim, is all conjecture.

Of course the claim that the right wants the mentally ill to be armed is total crap and another Eva lie. It is the left that released the mentally ill and refused to include several amendments about mental health in their recent gun control bill.

Now we're getting into stupid territory. Teachers don't kill students....they just have sex with them.

If the teachers are armed they will be the first to go,of course in your case it would be a blessing.

Fortunately, OBL is NOWsleeping with the fishes!

Your stupidity is only exceeded by your ego. You think armed teachers are the answer and I pointed out they would be the first shot. Try to keep up. You are on the shit list top name.

teachers , if armed, should meet the same training requirements as police officers, and log x amount of practice at the range before they are allowed to protect children in closed rooms

will the government provide said training, weapons, and ammunition or will the teachers be responsible for their own expenses?

Public school teachers are as much government employees as police officers are. All the resources are already in place to train and equip police officers, so there is not going to much additional expense. Strawman argument.

The gun carrying public has a better record than the police departments of this country. They shoot the right person more often than the police and they are better shots. They use fewer shots than the police do.

Doesn't Eva believe that teachers have the same legal right to self defense as the regular citizen? Why not give teachers a shirt with a bullseye on the back? Don't worry, Kansas has passed a bill giving local authorities the power to let trained teachers be armed. We didn't need your help after all.

Sorry Shirley I didn't say it but (facts) were never your strong suit. You need all the help you can get.

This is why its hard to have a conversation/debate with you Sir.

Who exactly do you think runs the local school districts? Typically that would be the Board of Education of whatever city/county. That Board of Education is always a division of the local city/county government. Just like the Police/Fire/Animal Control/Code Enforcement/DOT/Zoning/Community Services, and all the dozens of others, are all ran by the government. Ask any public school teacher what it says on their paycheck if you don't believe it.

You are stuck thinking at the federal level. The decisions and votes made at the weekly County Commissioners meeting will usually have much more effect on all our day-to-day lives than Washington ever will.
