I was not on the board back then but I did hear a story about flirting in chat that went really bad.

A local provider said something about having met a guy for a session. A provider in OK who really disliked the local provider had also seen the guy. The OK provider got so pissed the guy had see the other provider, she outed him.

You never know who may see your comments. No matter how both sides may enjoy the open banter and flirting, others may not. Just something to think about.

The Juniors and Seniors of eccie need to speak up and teach the newb freshmen what is acceptable behavior. Including discretion.

In an age where sharing everything is commonplace, fb, ms, twitter, etc, we have to understand the younger ones don't have that filter we hold onto. They live their lives in the public eye. For most of them, this lifestyle is open. They don't hide from their families or friends. They are younger, and haven't come to the point where they realize what is really at risk. Families to protect? Privacy, REAL privacy... It is more than just a setting on a social network, I promise you.

I got points on here once(Ok, more than once but that's another story), for "Unnecessary Rudeness". Yeah, I was harsh, but the situation IMO warranted it. A young provider posted a public alert. Another provider posted "OMG tell me more I have an appointment with him at x time on x day"....

*sigh*...

Maybe I am not the perfect person to show restraint and tact when situations like this arise.... but, the most of you just need to speak up and let it be known what you find unacceptable.

Back to my cubby hole, this 50yr old needs her prune juice and afternoon nap.
