I mean...
Were you just as indignant when Bush took a month off immediately before 9/11? You don't refute your own argument.I hope not. Only you would think refuting your own argument is a good thing. First you say that all presidents have meetings and stuff but then you complain that Bush had time off (wasn't he having meetins and stuff too).Wrong douche-bag. Whirly complained, saytown compared. You and whirly are the same. You bitch about performance without a comparison to judge that performance against. As soon as anyone brings up bush, you scream rape. Bush is the logical choice for comparison because he was the previous President. DUH!!
More proof you can't be a teacher. Of course we also know that Obama doesn't have meetings with his military commanders, members of Congress even when he is at home. Stupidity becomes you.
What about when Bush shattered days-off record? Once again old source and "shattered" really? That does nothing to help your statement except make you look strident. The Bible is old source. What does the age of the source have to do with anything? To quote a retarded piece of shit using "old source", "That does nothing to help your statement except make you look strident."
"Calls to several Presidential libraries reveal that President Obama’s predecessor, George W. Bush, was on vacation more — 1,020 days — than any U.S. President since Herbert Hoover and possibly more than any other President in history. Bush took the longest single vacation — 5 weeks — of any President in 36 years. This is plagarism plain and simple. You even cut and pasted one of the quotation marks. Just like the original, this is an old source. This is good. See below.
...
President Bush spent 32% of his presidency on vacation." Source. This source is from earlylast year 2012. So what? You focus on things that mean nothing while missing facts and the main point.
You're not too good at this are you? And you are?

The rest of your post is as stupid as you are. A month for Spring Break? Spring breaks cover a window of about 6 weeks. When the break is observed varies by location, climate, etc.
.
Excuse me.

Did you mean "plagiarism"?

Not only can you not spell it, you don't know what it means. Plain and simple for a plain and simple douche-bag.

One of the key parts of plagiarism is representing the work as your own. He didn't do that.

The final proof.

You are no more a teacher than you are a man.

The article you posted drags those little girls into the fray. And, they've been targeted before by you and the rest of the whackadoos. Bitching about them going to private schools, bitching about how much it costs for the Secret Service to protect them, bitching because they don't walk the dog enough. Don't talk to me about "hiding behind the kids".....you and your side are the ones who try to drag those little girls though the mud, not me.

Default A Pointless, Worthless Thread

Whirlaway, TimPage is absotutely right about this one. And I don't think anyone is going to characterize me as an "Obamazombie" or a "left-wing nut case," as you called him.

Why not make an effort to keep the discussions focused on substantive topics? There certainly are plenty from which to choose.

Presidents of all stripes have spent much of their time "vacationing" in various ways over the years. As CJ7 noted, they're never far from their advisors and always stand ready to respond to crises 24/7/365. If they are able to deal with the stresses of around-the-clock responsibility by getting away and doing the things they like to do best, I'm all for it.

Perhaps people would take you more seriously if you attempted to be intellectually honest, instead of just another zealous partisan.

It is; gross spending by the Obama's during a deep recession is fair political talk. Especially in light of chronic unemployment, sequestration cuts, and the Obama lectures on our debt being out of control.

How about the notion of leading by example ?

I guess that is just too old fashion of an concept for some.

BTW, if you think NOT talking about this subject will make you more "serious" and accepted by the opposition, then have at it my friend..............

Munchie you posted a "quote" by me but I never said it. You lied. I brought over what someone else said but you think I said it.

I call this a major breech of etiquette. If someone can take something, alter it, and then claim that someone else said it then where does it stop. You need to correct the record or retract. Makes you wonder about all those claims about Kayla. Is this the new tactic of the left?

As for other things, I will wait until my eyesight adjusts before I write anymore.

WTF are you talking about. Taking shit, altering it and then claiming it's something that it's really not is all people like COG, Whirly and you do. It's your mission in life.

it wont happen, the evidence supports exactly that.

its easier for the simpletons to believe this president lays down the responsibility of running the entire country and goes to the lake ...

Except it's not "gross" spending. It's what Presidents, and regular people do. Go on vacation at Christmas and New Year's? Take a weekend away once in a while. Go on Spring Break if your young enough to still do that.

Obama isn't doing anything that any other President hasn't done. You single him out for unwarranted criticism because you are a mindless drone Obama hater who seems to spend all his waking hours scanning the internet for silly shit like the original post.

You're a walker. Seeking Obama flesh.

The point should not be to become more "acceptable to the opposition," it should be to focus on substantive issues. All this vacation stuff is minutiae. It deflects attention from serious issues. I know you started a bunch of threads over the last couple of years addressing the number of times Obama played golf. Who cares?

You even started threads last fall trumpeting someone's opinion that some state was "trending" Romney. It should have been clear to you at the time that the only "trend" involving Romney's campaign was its inexorable move toward a probable election loss.

Do you really want to be regarded with the same contempt as that dim-witted buffoon who started about a half-dozen threads every day with copied & pasted stuff from a blog site, and filled his posts with that HAHAHAHAHAHA! crap all the time?

I'm not a Dem, I'm not a Repub. I am an issue voter--and sadly, I'm one of too-scarce breed of informed voter that doesn't give half-a-shit about which brand of toothpaste Obama uses (and how it PROVES he's a Kenyan/Muslim/Socialist/Warlock/Ambidextrous treefrog!), or which state in the union he chooses to work from.

You missed my point: Reagan MORE THAN LIKELY WORKED from his estate in Santa Barbara. Bush MORE THAN LIKELY WORKED from his ranch in Crawford. Obama MORE THAN LIKELY WORKS from his house in Hawaii. Hence the apples-to-apples comparison.

I'm a professional, and I have a hard time getting away from the office. The leader of the free world? Fuhgeddaboutit. Bush/Obama/The Next Prez: Working and/or on-call every second of the day. It ain't a vacation when you're still expected to work 18+ hours a day. Those rare moments where the prez can get away for golf? Good for him!

Now...about that plagiarism. Take a second and educate yourself about what an ellipsis, or suspension point is. Now scroll up to my post. Next time, I'll throw some arrows and flashing lights next to the word "SOURCE" so as to minimize confusion.

(If you still have difficulty, just have an adult assist you with sounding out the tricky parts of the posts.)

And you opined (one week before the election) that Romney had a good shot at winning Pennsylvania............talk about losing opinions on trends !

At least my judgement was based on polling data that showed Romney closing the gap in Wisconsin; you just shot your mouth without any backup....

You also, laughingly, thought Hurricane Sandy would help Romney........

You have a high opinion of your political analysis skills....undeservedly so.

I said those things? Don't recall that. How about posting a link to prove it?

But I do recall this -- and it was easy to find, since I was the thread starter:

http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=587614&highlight=

See post #12 in that thread, when you erroneously accused me of favoring international observers to monitor our elections. As I pointed out in the very next post (#13) I had recently said the opposite! And your statement that Romney had been specific about his proposed agenda was ridiculous on its face.

And even with all this, you accused me of "stupidity" in post #12. All of this points to only one possible conclusion: Looks like you are "trending" confused!

Just a suggestion, if I may:

Don't you feel that it might be a good idea to have a careful think before referring to someone's "stupidity?"

You're likely to embarrass yourself far less that way.

Say what you will, but at least Jimmy Carter turned down the heat in the White House during the energy crisis. I still remember the speech he gave wearing a sweater, and encouraging others to do so. He also sent his daughter to public school. I don't remember his vacations ever being an issue.

Damn. Jimmy is moving up the list from worst President, to second tier. He may have been the last President who didn't think he was a King.
