I was watching Justified tonight on FX.....the formerly bad ass Us marshal show.

That show started of amazing in the first season. Raylan Givens was good for shooting up some bad guy multiple times a show. Then in the second season after the massacre at the end of season one.....apparently they got told there was too much violence. So they had hot nekkid women, which seemed to carry through season 3.....with less and less violence and less nudity. Now in season 4.....feelings? Whole episodes devoted to his feelings about his father?


Hollywood and where ever else they ruin good shows and movies and worth a fart in a wind storm anymore.

What is a guy to watch? Well besides Duck Dynasty! I don't see them PC'ing Uncle Si and Phil up anytime soon.

I seriously have like 2,000 channels and nothing on worth while to watch. I am too damn young to be feeling this damn old. I can picture my grandfather saying the same thing about his favorite shows...

All a person needs is Sports and Adult Channels. The sports leagues are now trying to make the game safer for players and legal aspects for future lawsuits. I don't have a problem with it but its taking away the violence and thrill of watching the game.

Then you have the Adult Channels, which I think CA lawmakers is trying to make all Stunt Cocks wear a condom. I don't have a problem with safe sex, preventing STDS and HIV but you still lawmakers looking to regulate a billion dollar sex industry. From my readings, directors and producers are fighting this bill/law because porn always been bareback and that sells.

This is why I refuse to spend money on cable/satellite. I have 20 broadcast digital channels of nothing to watch, as opposed to 2000... Plus, whenever I'm running low on violence, I throw in either "Payback" or "Ronin" (or "Dodgeball" ) & my violence quota for the week is right back up where it should be!

IMHO the best shows on TV are Dexter, Homeland and Breaking Bad. Dexter has slipped a little the past couple of seasons, but if you have never seen it, it's well worthwhile to go back to the start and catch up. None of these shows are on any of the major networks. There only about 3 shows on major networks I watch...Person of Interest, Criminal Minds and SVU. I never watch these 3 unless they are recorded. Sitting thru 20 minutes an hour of commercials is a waste. That's why Dexter and Homeland are so appealing. No commercials. I find myself watching sports and military history more and more. Who knows, by the time I croak, I may be an expert on WW II.

It's not in season currently but do you watch 'Son's of Anarchy'? Badass show...

I hear 'Vikings' is pretty good as well on History Channel. Shameless on Showtime.

Dexter is good, I have seen that. I hear you about recording and skipping the commercials.

I watched one season of SOA, was uncomfortable that the main characters that we were supposed to like ran drugs....so stopped watching. Someone tried to explain it to me, that they didn't mess with kids and the like, so they were better than other or some such....just haven't got back into watching it though. I would need to start over from the beginning though.


I am partial to the military and science channels, might as well learn something while relaxing some times.
