Negativity seems like the way of the world these days! I have seen VLB and I will admit I think highly of her. But I think highly of many of the ladies that I have meet and continue to see. The most unfortunate thing is that GL will move on to another provider and hard-legger to bash! I agree with Karla and Malaya! If you don't know a person how can you talk about them? Newbie provider hatin on the seasoned vets may be ther perception of some and that is ok with me. My inbox and calender is booked so it doesn't bother me if that is what anyone thinks. What does bother me is that VLB makes statements about how "some of us will be doing this until we are grandmas" and shit of that nature and no one has the balls to step up and say anything. Hell... I do belive there are afew grandma providers here who are lovely ladies and there is not a DAMN thing wrong with that.

The post VLB made in Boom's thread about retirement seemed extremely harsh, was using language most of us do not like to refer to ourselves or fellow providers as. It came across as very derogatory towards the other ladies, almost as she looks down upon us. Not knowing her or many of the other ladies on the board creates a communication breakdown when it comes to language and sarcasm used in posts.

I do see some issues as far as calling out for retirement, but not knowing when, or changing the verbiage in ads to reflect you will see people you like on a continuing basis after the official retirement.... It muddies the waters and makes a retirement announcement somewhat pointless.

I don't like the cat fights, but I do understand the point of the post.
