And then there are those of us (me) who rarely see ladies on this (or any) board, but have never done a review (though I have commented a few times on a review thread), because:
a) I really find it difficult to come up with a review that doesn't make me feel as though I'm grading a side of beef. I realize that many ladies depend on reviews to help their business, but I'm just REALLY uncomfortable doing it.
b) I have a number of major physical issues that would make any review of my activities really boring, and probably not get "credit" for the review. To put it frankly, I just can't do most things that guys expect to see in a review.
c) Given a & b, my review would be something along the lines of, "She was on time, she was very pretty, she was very nice, the end."

Don't worry about that, duck! Hell, look at my signature line! I take a lot of crap sometimes for being a one-trick pony, but many of us have our limitations, so we'll compensate with what we like to do, and hope we do it well enough to have some fun. To coin a phrase, "Don't Worry, Be Happy!"

Most of the time, three out of four of those comments are the most important aspects of the review! The pretty part is always subjective, though.

I totally agree with the Wizard
And a lot of the times the comments, beyond what you said, by other reviewers are merely fictional pieces of work
So always feel free to speak your mind...it doesn't stop the rest of us, lol

So Big Deal, did you blow town owing VK Master, Malwoody and Omahan money so that you feel the need to WK them? While you're at it, why not give a big cheer for everyone who didn't vote in 2012?
If you know these guys and love them so much you need to come here and cheer them on, that's up to you. I don't care if they write reviews or not. However, it's a review site. If everyone followed their example, this place would be a ghost town. I doubt many would show up here just to read the, uh, witty repartee that floods the forums.
Reviews are the main thing here for most guys. What better way is there to gather and share information about the escort scene? I think guys who take the time to share the info deserve the real pat-on-the-backs. Reviews are important for the ladies too. A good review is the best advertisement she can get. More than one has told me a few good reviews can really pick up her business.
So I say, give a cheer to all the guys who write the reviews on Eccie. They're the ones who deserve the biggest hand.

So give a cheer for a WK of ECCIE...have interest do you? RE: your comment of bigdeal and WK... Some of us have kinkier ties than anyone will ever know. Unless you read all of the past posts you will never put it all together. It's not something that you can just pop up and speculate about.
Agreed, my 43 "yes" reviews certainly help me rock KC. I'm an exhibitionist and every fantasy turns me on over and over again. I get off on reviews. I just said reviews serve a purpose other than verification.

No I agree that reviews are important to the site...its also just a SHMB to share thoughts and discuss the hobby.....
Im just saying there are certain guys Ive noticed will get into it with other handles and then try to call them out if they dont have reviews and thats crap...
Some guys dont have to write reviews but yet they see more pussy than your local gynocologist...they just dont share it...nothing wrong with that
Maybe you should petition St Christopher and ask that guys have to write a review once a month to stay a member
BTW They owe me and I dont even like em!

I personally stopped writing reviews when a dear friend got popped at a residence in KS, and my review was one of the ones presented as evidence in court, that she does this and this and that. Kind of sucks.

Of course those who take the time to post honest reviews are the cornerstone of what makes this site so valuable.
To naively think reviews are the only way to impart valuable info about the hobby...well that's a classic case of playing checkers
There are those of us whose hobby styles result in us chosing not to write reviews...and if I have to explain the various possible reasons why we do this...then to be blunt, you're a checkers player, and I prefer chess.
BD had a very specific reason for starting this thread, I am so sorry that went over your head. When I joined Eccie and went over the rules, perhaps I missed the fine print...but no where did it state making reviews was a require part of membership. I would imagine paying the fee has something to do with providing $$$'s to this site. Because without that type of support this place would not be a ghost town, it simply would not exist.
So I say thanks to everyone that takes the time to post on Eccie, especially those who post reviews.
And special thanks to the checker players as well

I rarely partake in the hobby, perhaps once a year or so. I used to write reviews when I first started, but haven't in several years. If you are really interested, you can check me out on TER, but most of those ladies are no longer active. Sins being the only exception to this that I can think of (my first IC, and I was scared shitless). I have my own reasons for this, one of which is that I don't make it a habit of writing confessions about my private life in public places. A second is that I am fully aware that things out on the net never truly go away.
Am I overly cautious or paranoid? Perhaps, but I have yet to have one side of my life interfere with the other, or had any awkward conversations or visits with those I'd rather not.

I've been in this hobby for many years. So many that when I was a newbie phones still had cords and were connected to the wall. Incalls were in my (car's) backseat and outcalls were in theirs. Reviews on providers consisted of telling your buddies firsthand what went on.
I write a reviews in spurts. Sometimes it's because I get bored and wanna re-live the experience by writing about it, sometimes it's because I neeed PA so I can read the good stuff and do some additional research before a potential visit. Sometimes new providers have even requested reviews. I figure if they were good then writing a review can help their business.
I enjoy reading all the posts, but over the years haven't been a big post-er myself only because my life won't allow me the privacy and time to post.
I would agree that its probably not a good idea to confess or post anything on the internet, but shit look at all those dumbasses on Face-book. I won't touch that arena...well...only to troll and creep

My ECCIE Reviews
|
A lot of my clients do not write reviews. Sometimes they ask if I would like them to write one & I let them know that it is entirely up to them. I appreciate the respect of a choice though. Being an established provider, I find that reviews don't really matter much to me anymore.

Not saying that it did not happen - PA's will use every dirty trick in the book - but unless you gave a sworn statement that the provider was whom you wrote the review on and that you in fact wrote the review or she confessed that she was in fact the provider in the review and everything in the review was true - then any two-bit crackerjack lawyer should have had that thrown out with in seconds.

Pretty much sums up the reasons why I no longer write reviews - when the shit hit the fan with the Southwest Companions bust - quite a few of us members spent some restless nights wondering if we are going to be the next to be visited for that 'awkward conversation' - no you are not overly cautious or paranoid - it was a hard lesson learned for a lot of us.
