BT, there are Democrats, and there are democrats. Just like there are Republicans and republicans. I'm not proud of all Democrats/democrats, and I'm sure you are not proud of all Republicans/republicans.
For instance I was not a Ralph Yarborough fan. I thought John Connally was all right, just sorry he switched parties ... but I understand why he did. Texas started moving in that direction .. away from the National Democratic Party ...
.... the liberalism just doesn' sit well with most Texans I think.
