A Social Dinner: Thoughts requested.

Lately I've an idea brewing in the back of my mind, and I thought this might be a good place to discuss it.

I travel full time, and I have a hard time meeting other ladies. It seems most ladies, as much as they might not mean to be, are difficult to motivate to go out and socialize with other escorts without men involved. It's just a lot to ask of a lady to give up her free time to meet some other lady she doesn't know and may never see again. But I would very much like to meet other ladies like myself and make some friends in the various places I visit. Also, good conversation and mixed company is a treat I don't get all that often.

So here is my idea. Please help me think it through and decide if it is a viable option.

I want to put together a dinner, at a nice restaurant, for about 4 couples, give or take, in certain cities that I visit, time permitting. The gents would have to be screened by me, and the ladies approved for social compatibility. But how would I put the word out without worrying about too much exposure? Obviously I could not include the place or time, perhaps even the specific date. I also think it might be fair to charge $50 per gentleman's seat, to be paid ahead of time, discreetly, the same way I collect deposits. Ladies of course should be treated by their date, or cover themselves if attending alone. This would compensate me for the time and effort arranging and screening, and also cover my meal should I be solo.

What do you all think? Is this something you would be interested in attending? Do you have any ideas or suggestions?

Your best bet not only for convenience but to stay within Eccie rules is to select the ladies you want to invite and PM or email them. Open discussion of meets in the forums in not encouraged for obvious reasons.

Maybe you should consider selecting the lady(s) you know/might like to know by PM and have them select the males they would chose to bring. I would think if you pick the right ones, each lady should know what appropriate male, if any, to bring.

I think the men would be the problem. Many have no great desier to meet other men. For me it would be very much a matter of who my date would be; it would probably have to be a lady I already felt quite comfortable with.

As JB suggested, I would read the boards in the city you wanted to do it in, identify a few ladies you thought would be compatable with what you want, and then PM them. If you have the ladies on board with the plan I would approach them about finding dates for themselves and for you.

Not sure it would work, but I suspect there would be some ladies out there who would be interested.

Just a couple thoughts:

More than a few communities have existing Meet & Greets, such as San Antonio and Austin, which are openly announced on eccie and other boards, but which have zero connection to the boards.

And, of course, more than a few communities have "Fight Clubs" which are never openly announced on the boards.

If you are utilizing direct provider vouches to verify hobbyists in distant cities (or locally, even), obviously those providers and hobbyists might be providential initial targets.

As a client, the concept of a social dinner as you described is extremely enticing. The logistics and setup would be almost as complicated as the set upon the movie Eyes Wide Shut. I find the idea exciting and with the right combination ie couples, could only imagine the conversations filled with wit and the entire situation giving a heightened sense of being on the edge. I have only met one provider that has the refinement to even consider pulling this off. I have not, as of yet had the personal pleasure of meeting Ms. Davenport but do wish her luck and definitely want to know if such and event was a success.
