How is that racist? That's what the demographics show. It's no more racist than saying a party has to appeal to Hispanics or African-Americans. Both parties divide the country into distinct demographics. It's called "divide and conquer."

I hate to inform all of you, but this sounds like a whole lot more "White Guy" talk by folks who are fundamentally clueless--and happy to be such.
You DO realize that "Hispanics" are far from a homogenious group, don't you?
That the issues that matter along the TX/NM/AZ/CA boarder are not the issues that matter in Miami or NYC.
That Mexican Americans do not see the world the same way as Cuban Americans who don't see the world as Puertoricanios do. And thet (horror of horrors!) PR is part of the US, and Puerto Ricans are US Citizens--therefore little concerned about many of your "amnesty" arguments.
You DO understand the distinctions, don't you?
That the three waves of Cuban immigrants ave exceedingly different views on what post-Castro Cuba should look like? That one wave resembles the Dems, one the Reps, and one is a different breed altogether.
Actually, rereading this it confirms just the opposite--that you dumb gringos really do think all Hispanics think the same. Just like you can't tell Blacks apart.
Keep on thinking that way and you'll keep wondering why your candidates lost.

The racist part is Blowhard's point that welfare is inherently a black/hispanic issue.

That was the point our ignorant lil Tea Pukes missed, the majority of folks on welfare are white. Hell if you throw in corporate welfare it is a super majority!

Blacks are 12% of the population; they make 39.8% of the welfare recipients.
Whites are 63% of the population; they make up 38.8% of the welfare recipients.
Hispanics are 13% of the population; they make up 15.7% of the welfare recipients.
If blacks were equally as likely to be on welfare as whites, they would make up 7.4% of the welfare recipients not 39.8%. That means blacks are 5.4 times more likely to be on welfare than whites.

More typical liberal deflection. When you start stating facts that defeat their argument, they turn to calling names and changing the tenor of the conversation. Pathetic.

Joe from the link you posted, there are only 4.3 million people on welfare. My guess is fewer than 50% of that number vote.
So to play the welfare card is a ignorant play as to why you are losing elections. You are losing election because you lump Latino's and Blacks voting for Democrats because of welfare and it is an insult to the majority of Latino's and Blacks who are not on welfare...the one's that vote!

Wrong
Whites make up 38.8% of welfare recipients; they are 63% of the population.
Blacks make up 39.8% of the welfare recipeints; they are 12% of the population. That makes them 5.4 times more likely to be on welfare.
