I'll join, but only with the group that rides all the way there.....I'll camp in a tent and shit in a hole in the ground, but I will never trailer my bike.....

I have been there several times and it is a lot of fun. I would suggest getting a room in Deadwood atleast a couple of nights, It is a different party there at night that I really enjoyed. I think it is 12 miles away and dont think about drinking and driving.

You are welcome to ride all the way there. We are needing trailers for those that can not ride the whole way due to the weather or falling asleep booties..lol... It is a week long event and think a large house would be better then a tent for the week...lol..
But you are more then welcome to tag along and do your owe thing.. sure we will all do our own things once we get there. Just trying to have a good time with those that love to ride.

I trailered when I went and made reservations at the Best Western on the interstate exit. But I also trailered b/c I went to Idaho and Wyoming. Way too many miles and weather conditions to chance with delays. Coming back from Sturgis was rain most of the way and no fun for the ones riding.

Update on Sturgis. Did some research and found out if we use an RV with four people to share expenses, here is what it would cost for 10 days. You can pull trailer behind RV or some drive some ride.

Space to park RV (lodging), gas for RV there and back, Food for breakfast and dinner, Total $500 per person for 10 day. Now that is $50 per day. Can't beat that at any hotel.

Now rides, lunches, drinking and gifts. That will be up to you but for me I am thinking about $1000 to spend for the 10 days there. Thats $100 per day per person.

What do you think? Are you game? Do you have an RV or trailer you are willing to share?
I am working on putting a group or groups together to go. So if you are interested please PM me and let me know if you want to go also. I am thinking we need to get there on the 2nd of Aug and leave the 12 th of Aug. This is for 10 days. Also there is a place looking for workers during this event to help pay for trip while you are there. If your interested in working while you are there let me know also and will give you the link to the application. Ride On and Ride Hard...
