Wow, has it really been over a week since I posted? For shame. My fans, both of them, must be bitterly disappointed. But...I have a new masterpiece for public consumption. (Obviously, self-confidence was never my problem.) And so, without further ado, lets all remember the Vincent Price intro to Michael Jackson's 'Thriller.'

The Haggler

Ads run rampant 'cross the threads
Providers seek to raise some bread
A client crawls in search of rates
That make for inexpensive dates
And when that certain girl is found
Her willingness for going down
Is tested by the hobby dude
Who's looking to be cheaply screwed

Her words of anger hang in air
It matters not; he doesn't care
He pressures her to drop the price
Unfeeling voice as cold as ice
He knows that on the Eccie boards
Her place is that of straggler
And few like her can long resist
The evil of the Haggler

Wow, it was a busy Holiday season. Can't believe it's been a month since I posted a new work. But here it is, with apologies to one of the most popular bands of all time. Let's all remember the Beach Boys, Surfin' USA.

If everybody had free time
A half an hour or more
Then everybody could spend time
With Shayla 84
You’d see ‘em coming and going
From her new incall
A popular little cutie

They’ll be coming from Georgetown
And around the Domain
The Arboretum and Lakeway
It’s really all the same
From Zilker Park to Round Rock
From twenty miles or more
They’ll be visiting Shayla

She’ll be smiling and friendly
When she opens the door
And you find if you kiss her
She really knows the score
She’s a lady with skills, sir

19Trees as a Moderator is too good to pass up....

Congrats go out to 19Trees
He'll Mod quite well as we shall see
And though his writing style's unique
His thoughts are never left oblique

With Trees you always know his mind
No guessing, be it harsh or kind
He pulls no punches, truth be writ
And tells you when you're full of it

His posts are odd, this much is so
But entertaining too, you know
I'm hoping that he makes us smile
With points assessed, third person style

But even if he chooses not
To keep the style that now he's got
Kudos go to 19Trees
And woe to those whose wrongs he sees

Reconciliation: always begun with high hopes, and nearly always ending in disappointment. The following is my tribute to those who have left, only to return disillusioned and, in some cases, heartbroken.

(Triumphant return of the Poet's work, or poor effort at regaining past glory? Inquiring minds want to know.)

Twin beams crash through the night
slowly silently they crept
on the inside her smile wept
hours fled the minutes
bought cheaply indiscreetly

another tiny thunder vibrates the facsimile
a small heavy tornado escapes her lips
down the rabbit hole, another trip
all the worlds a stage shakesphere
sadly this is what she fears

A stage no bigger than a box
a performance always a one man show
her music endless beats then flow
night ends, day rises
she prays pessimistically for no surprises

tear drops fallen
bed sullen
soul toilin
time polling
life lolling

I thought I might as well contribute. I am sure the rhythm is off, but I just wrote this now, shrug.
