True so far as it goes. However, the velocity of the money might be marginally enhanced if providers are less adept at holding on to money than the vendors of the alternative goods and services. My guess is many providers live hand to mouth most of the time. So if the men spent the money on other forms of entertainment, more might be saved by theater chains, restaurant owners, etc., thus less of what they spend would be re-spent as quickly. However, the velocity effects would be rather small, I suspect.
