for the ladies - about female condoms

I was recently introduced to these by a provider whom had thoughtfully brought them to our second appointment because of issues I have with latex. I was blown away (ahem) at how good they felt - kind of like nothing was there at all. After that appointment I did some research and found out they are as effective at disease prevention as a latex condom but they are very difficult to find. From my limited experience they provide better sensations for both participants and should be a welcome alternative

So anyone else have any experience, comments? How would a provider feel if a client showed up to an appointment with one? Would they use it?

I made a post about this a long time ago as a suggestion for Gents that are condom shy or have forms of ED. They work well but I will make some suggestions. Offer to help her place it so that it is properly in place and comfortable for both of you (I have short fingers and long nails so I usually use a toy to make sure it is all the way in). Don't rough house with it, don't switch positions up too fast, check it every now and then, and I don't recommend it for Gents that are more endowed than your average Joe.

A long time ago, I picked one up. Was always curious to try it out with my SO at the time, but he wasn't interested. So the thing expired and I threw it out; never got to try it. I would rather stick with traditional condoms only because I know how they work and what to expect with them. Condoms are a safety barrier and it's better to play around with female condoms with someone you know, such as a SO. Unless of course you are very experienced with them.

A provider suggested we try for round 2. I agreed but she had rules. Start on mish and do not change positions. No prob.
It felt great and it created a suction that was different. Not like real virginal walls but it was better than a standard cover for round 2. Also, staying in mish made for a sensual GFE session. Nice.

I was curious about the female condom because it was something different, and I was curious what it was like to use one. I kept seeing these ads in magazines for them, and did you know Drew Barrymore was once a spokes person for them?? Of course S.O wasn't interested so it ended up collecting dust. Your right, when your in a commited, monogamous relationship, female condoms or not, boyfriends just aren't going to want to use comdoms. And like I said earlier, I don't think I'd try them with a hobbyist because I just don't know how well they work, lol. Plus, it looks like it would slip out/off easily....

i prefer them. they wont slip off but do take a min to put in and you have to hold in place when changing positions.. feeling is much better than male condoms

Oops I had not seen this thread...here's what I poster on the other one...

My partner was incredibly wet. The female condom just slid in and out of her so it ended up feeling like a loose male condom. I was hoping that the female condom would stay put inside her and that I would feel more friction. May try again.
