True to a point, but Buffett IS Berkshire to most observers. Minimally, this policy makes them complicit with all those mean, nasty, selfish, tax-dodging rich people.

wanting to change existing tax laws for individuals even though your company utilizes business procedures that benefits its investors via said tax laws is ironic ?

anything you say

C'mon, CJ, surely you're brighter than that. I'll try one more time. Buffett advocates the wealthy paying more taxes while BH helps the wealthy avoid taxes. BH is a corporate entity, true, but to many Buffett is BH, and vice versa. Beyond those, the vast majority of sheeple out there don't pay attention to what he does, only what he says..."Wait, of course he's right, the rich SHOULD pay more in taxes."

Or, are we back to the old "well, the laws are on the books, so until they change..." argument?? Buffett should either live up to the convictions he wants to foist on others, or shut up. Same with Google, Microsoft, Hollywood, etc., etc.

Irony, hypocrisy, duplicity, you call it what you want, it's all the same.
