Yes time waster is right. Prepping for a shoot is very time consuming. I have to set up all my gear, lighting plan on what color backgrounds (paint or build new ones) and if I am using fabrics or props take the time to go buy all that stuff and return what I can - not including all the time I spend discussing with my clients what type of images they want (most don't know, luckily I am creative) and or leave it to me to concept a shoot. The after all that I actually have to do the shoot and create professional images my clients LOVE! (No pressure, LOL)
@KCQuestor "I'm stunned that you don't require a deposit." - I'd love to charge a deposit every time but as you know most of this business is "sketchy" or under the table - so I do what I can to protect myself from wasting time - as most don't want to prepay for the sake of being discreet with real names etc. Not everyone wants this business linked to a CC, paypal etc. and I understand that but just NOT showing up is a killer for everyone involved. Imagine if I had booked a hair and makeup artist too!
NOTE: Most ladies I work with understand being timely, professional, discreet and invest in their business, marketing and offer good service to their clients. I expect the same when dealing with me and I give it back 100%.
Never fear I did have a beautiful model who I had been chatting with over a month come in and shot some hot images and a very SEXY HD video that I am now editing. She brought over her best friend and put on quite a show - a "glassy best friend". I'll have it on my website (below) in a week or so... watch for it! It will knock your socks off!! (Assuming you are wearing socks)
